Allon Bar works on the intersection between technology and human rights. He is a research coordinator and human rights specialist with the Ranking Digital Rights project, which ranks the world's largest technology companies on their policies and practices affecting their users' right to freedom of expression and privacy. He is a visiting fellow at Stiftung Neue Verantwortung. Mr. Bar previously worked on technology and human rights from both practical and research/policy perspectives. In addition to having worked with the United Nations and with NGOs around the world, he has engaged in international policymaking in U.S. Congress and at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. As a Fulbright scholar, he obtained a master of international affairs degree at Columbia University.
